Ralph, Malak, Chamseddine

Philip Hernández (Ralph/Malak/Chamseddine) is the only man in Broadway history to have played both Jean Valjean and Inspector Javert in Les Miserables. He also played principal roles in the Broadway musicals Kiss of the Spider Woman and Paul Simon’s The Capeman. Philip has appeared in national and international tours, at regional theatres, and on television in Law & Order, Ugly Betty, Damages, Person of Interest, Made in Jersey, Elementary, and the new CBS show Hostages. He also played Enrico Alvarez on ABC’s All My Children and was featured on One Life to Live, Loving, and Another World. In concert he has sung with the New York Philharmonic under the baton of Leonard Bernstein, Robert Shaw, and Zubin Mehta, and with symphony orchestras across America. Jazz Review hailed his Latin-Jazz CD, The beat of my heart, as “a gift from the heart from one of America’s great voices.”
