Nadine Malouf (Nawal) is incredibly grateful to be doing this beautiful piece and so proud to be back at Syracuse Stage after graduating from the SU Drama Department (awhile ago). Previous Syracuse Stage credits include Fiddler on the Roof and Godspell. After college, Nadine focused on performing new works in New York City, most recently appearing in Exile at Cherry Lane Theatre. This past summer she completed the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts’ Shakespeare Intensive in London where she appeared as Lady M in The Scottish Play. For the musical Les Miserables, she performed on this year’s 85th Annual Academy Awards with the film’s cast, and she was a member of the 25th anniversary touring company as an understudy for the role of Eponine. Nadine can be seen early next year in the supporting role of Yasmine in Cherien Dabis’ upcoming second film May in the Summer, which premiered this year at the Sundance Film Festival and internationally at the Venice Film Festival last month. Thank you to Marcela, Tim, the cast and team of Scorched, all the wonderful faculty in the Drama Department, and of course—Always for Mama, Dale, friends and family, home in Australia, and all over the world.
