Directions

Traveling the New York State Thruway

  • Exit onto Rt 81 south at Thruway Exit #36
  • Follow the "Traveling South on Rt 81" directions below.

Traveling South on Rt 81

  • Exit at Harrison/Adams Street, Exit #18
  • Follow the Exit ramp to Adams Street. Turn left onto Adams Street.
  • At the second traffic light, turn left onto Irving Avenue.
  • Proceed to East Genesee Street. Syracuse Stage will be on your left, parking on your right.

Traveling North on Rt 81

  • Exit at Harrison/Adams Street, Exit #18.
  • At the traffic light, turn right onto Adams Street.
  • At the second traffic light, turn left onto Irving Avenue.
  • Proceed to East Genesee Street. Syracuse Stage will be on your left, parking on your right.

Traveling East on Rt 690

  • Exit onto Rt 81 South.
  • Follow the Exit ramp to Adams Street. Turn left onto Adams Street.
  • At the second Traffic light, turn left onto Irving Avenue.
  • Proceed to East Genesee Street. Syracuse Stage will be on your left, parking on your right.

Traveling West on Rt 690

  • Exit onto Townsend Street at Exit #13.
  • Turn left onto Townsend Street.
  • Turn left onto East Genesee Street at the fifth traffic light.
  • Turn right onto Irving Avenue. Syracuse Stage will be on your right, parking on your left.

Parking

The entrance to the enclosed parking garage on Irving Avenue is located at the corner of Madison Street and Irving Avenue, next to the Madison-Irving Medical Building, along with an open lot parking between Phoebe's Garden Cafe and the garage. For hours of operations and parking costs for the Madison-Irving Medical Building garage, call All Right Parking at 315.475.4742. For hours of operations and parking costs for the open lot, call SU Parking Services at 315.443.4652. Both locations offer handicap parking.

Street parking is free after 6 p.m. during the week.
