Young Adult Council
The Syracuse Stage Young Adult Council (YAC) is a group of high school students from the Central New York area. Students involved come from public, private, and non-traditional schools and represent a wide range of students. YAC meets monthly to create and implement pre-show events that promote student driven work while pursuing a deeper understanding of theatre and Syracuse Stage productions. These events seek to inspire the next generation of theatregoers by providing students with opportunities to explore plays and performances in order to enhance their appreciation and to develop theatrical skills. Members of YAC can also take advantage of opportunities to learn from professional theatre artists at Syracuse Stage.
