The role of the Board of Trustees of Syracuse Stage is to guide and support the theatre management in carrying out its mission to illuminate the many truths of our common humanity through the transformative power of live theatre. Trustees are selected based on their interest in the arts and specific skills they can bring to the Board. We are grateful to them for their caring and commitment to provide the highest quality theatre to the Central New York community.
The Syracuse Stage Board of Trustees voted in April 2001 to amend its governing by-laws to establish a special Emeritus Circle. The Emeritus Circle provides the opportunity to recognize past Syracuse Stage Board members for their commitment, and to allow for the continuation of a high level of support and involvement. Our long history, 40 seasons strong, combined with the tradition of solid community support exemplified by the leadership of the individuals listed below and their financial commitment as members of the Directors’ and Producers’ Circles, makes the creation of the Emeritus Circle possible.
