Danielle Herbert


Danielle Herbert is thrilled to make her Syracuse Stage debut! A Philly native, Danielle is best known for her role as “Babs” in season three of the hit Netflix TV series, Orange is the New Black, a role which she will reprise in season five. Prior to that, she made her Broadway debut in the hit Duke Ellington musical,  After Midnight, where she covered a rotating roster of guest-stars, including Fantasia Barrinno, K.D Lang, Toni Braxton, Vanessa Williams, Patti Labelle, and Broadway vet, Adriane Lenox. Danielle has sung back-up vocals for Grammy-winning R&B singer Jill Scott and has performed at the most notable theatres in Philadelphia, including the acclaimed Walnut Street Theater. She recently debuted her one-woman cabaret I’m Still Here! in NYC, which payed tribute to the legendary Eartha Kitt. To learn more about Danielle visit
