Chesney Snow (DJ/ Vocal Percussion Consultant). A Drama Desk Award-winning performer and theatre artist, Snow most recently appeared in Two River Theater’s production of Oo Bla Dee written by Regina Taylor and directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson, music by Diedre Murray. Snow was a composer, songwriter, and lyricist alongside Regina Taylor for the 2018 McCarter Theatre Center and Long Wharf Theatre production of Crowns. He also appeared as an actor in the Princeton and Slavery Plays directed by Carl Cofield at McCarter Theatre Center. Regional credits include roles at the Village Theatre in Issaquah, WA, Delaware Theatre Company, Southwest Shakespeare Company, and the national tour of Vocalosity. He originated the role of Boxman in the acapella musical In Transit both off and on Broadway. Considered a pioneering figure in American beatbox culture, he founded the American Beatbox Championships and produced and starred in the music documentary film American Beatboxer, which was placed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He has collaborated on stage as a soloist with artists such as KRS One, Zap Mama, and Nile Rodgers. Snow headlined Carnegie Hall twice with DCINY. His stage choreopoem The Unwritten Law was commissioned by Dixon Place, directed and choreographed by Rebecca Arends, received critical acclaim off-Broadway last season.
