Kenya Brome

Kenya Brome (Sawda/Elhame) has appeared as Branwyn in the regional premiere of Walter Mosley’s The Fall Of Heaven at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and as Martha Loomis under Delroy Lindo’s direction of Joe Turner’s Come and Gone at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Additional credits include the role of Juliette in the American premiere of I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me by a Young Lady From Rwanda (Kansas City Repertory Theatre), Azmera in the regional premiere of Tranced (San Jose Repertory), Lila in Nomathemba with Ladysmith Black Mombazo (Huntington Theatre Company), and Ti Moune in Once On This Island (Actors’ Theatre of Louisville). Ms. Brome is currently working on the film Bubble Girl, has a supporting role in the film Breaking Point, and has appeared in the film It’s Kind of a Funny Story. She has guest starred on NBC’s Law & Order, and has appeared on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Third Watch, and All My Children. Ms. Brome is known for her award winning television commercial for Citibank Identity Theft Protection, and she recently co-starred with Robert De Niro in a commercial for Time Warner-TriBeca Film On Demand (directed by Barry Levinson).
