Leopold Lowe (Antoine/Militiaman/Janitor/War Photographer) has performed on stages internationally in Lagos, Nigeria, Moscow, Russia, and in U.S. regional theatres. Credits include: George in Intimate Apparel (Portland Stage, Stamford Theatreworks), Crooks in Of Mice and Men (Hangar Theatre), Prince of Morocco in The Merchant of Venice (American Repertory Theatre), Jackie Robinson in American Pastime, and Zachariah in Blood Knot (Stamford Theatreworks). NY credits include Paul in Six Degrees of Separation, Walter Lee in A Raisin in the Sun, and Thami in My Children, My Africa (Los Angeles Robby Award winner). Four-time Audelco Award nominee, and winner of Best Actor for his portrayal of Levee in Classical Theatre of Harlem’s production of August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
