Joe Davoli (Joe the Fiddler) is a graduate of DePaul University and attended the Berklee School of Music. A consummate performer of Celtic, bluegrass, jazz and rock music, he has studied with “alternative strings” greats Matt Glaser and Darol Anger. Joe’s credits include composing music for the Off-Broadway revival of Israel Horovitz’ The Indian Wants The Bronx, and Musical Supervisor for the short film Brando From The Neck Down, the soundtrack of which features Joe playing fiddle and mandolin. The recipient of two SAMMY awards, Joe has a successful private studio in Syracuse where he teaches fiddle and mandolin to children and adults, and he has published a popular method book. He is a member of Ceili Rain, and his solo CD, “Game Plan,” has received national acclaim. In demand as a studio musician, Joe lives in Camillus with his wife, Darbie, and three children: Nicholas, Olivia, and Joseph III.
