In a normal year, we’d be gearing up to start rehearsal for our first production of the season. But there’s nothing normal about this year, is there? We know the time will come when we’re back together again. But that time isn’t now. As we contemplate a time when we can create theatre for you again, please know that your safety, and the safety of our artists and staff, is our first consideration. Yes, we are currently hard at work planning an exciting virtual and live 48th season; we’ve already announced some of the plays, others will be new and more suited to this moment in time. We can’t wait to share them with you. We're working in tandem with our national labor unions and local government officials to determine the best path forward. Thank you for your patience. Stay safe. And stay tuned.
Current plans for a full six show season in 2020/2021 start with Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein in October. The rest of the season includes Matilda the Musical for the holidays, the calypso inflected musical Once on this Island, Yoga Play, the American classic Our Town, and a world premiere by associate artistic director Kyle Bass salt/city/blues.
