Individual Giving

Contributed income provides 65% of Stage's operating revenue. Your inspiring generosity enables Syracuse Stage to overcome obstacles and thrive in new and unexpected ways. As we reimagine what is possible during these challenging times, your support is crucial.

Did you know, the CARES Act allows for expanded tax-deductibility for 2020 contributions – even if you do not itemize?

    •    Temporary Universal Charitable Deduction - Taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions can take a one-time deduction of up to $300 for gifts made to charitable organizations.

    •    Unlimited Charitable Contributions - Suspends the 60 percent adjusted gross income limitation for individuals’ charitable contributions for the year 2020. For 2020, there is no limit, making cash contributions fully deductible.

Consult your tax and financial professionals for details.
Angels Donors
Benefits for individual giving start at $75. Individuals who contribute at this level are recognized in our last playbill of the season. Contributions from $150 - $499 are recognized in all playbills of the season, and patrons who contribute $1000-$1499 receive the above recognition, plus four parking passes, and receive a first look at the 2021/22 season!
