This special one night only virtual event on June 12 replaces the originally planned Gala on April 24th at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown.
Although we need to be physically distant right now, we can come together virtually to celebrate our humanity, express our thanks for each other, and show our support for Syracuse Stage. Together for Stage honors outgoing Syracuse Stage Board of Trustees President Bea González and features exclusive performances and interviews with beloved artists who have tread the boards at Syracuse Stage.
The event also includes a silent auction which opens June 1 and includes a wide variety of unique items and priceless experiences. Items and descriptions will be available for viewing online and bidding conducted remotely via smartphone. The auction will close at midnight on June 12. View auction items.

Bea González is responsible for leading and advancing the University’s community investment effort by conceptualizing, creating, and implementing new strategies and partnerships to the benefit of the University and community stakeholders. González has more than 38 years of experience in higher education; 30 of which have been in continuing education. She also has a long and distinguished record of public service. She joined University College of Syracuse University in 1984 as an academic advisor. She became executive director of the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program and community and public services in 1991. After serving as director and associate dean of Student Support Services, she was selected as interim dean in 2004 and Dean in 2007. In February 2015, she was appointed as Special Assistant to the Chancellor to focus on student affairs.
