Calling all Drag Queens and Kings!
Think you have what it takes to be crowned the next Salt City Drag Battle Queen or King and win $1,000?
We’re accepting video applications now through April 26.
This year’s Salt City Drag battle will take place on Saturday, June 8. Performers of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Like previous years, the Battle consists of one exceptional runway look and one performance. The two highest scoring finalists will compete in a lip sync battle for the crown and $1,000 cash.
Contestants will be notified of the final lip sync number upon notification of selection. Contestants must be 18 years of age by June 7, 2024.

It’s on! The 2024 Salt City Drag Battle!
Join your hosts Darienne Lake and Aggy Dune for a diva-licious night of drag, drinks, and dancing on June 8. Featuring a special performance from two-time Salt City Drag Battle Queen Samantha Vega. The Salt City Drag Battle is produced in consultation with Tanner Efinger and Breadcrumb Productions.

Lobby opens at 6:30 PM, show starts at 8:00 PM.
All proceeds from the Salt City Drag Battle benefit Syracuse Stage artistic, community engagement, and educational programming.
