Chronicle Billie Holiday’s life story through the songs that made her famous. 1959, in a small, intimate bar in Philadelphia, Holiday puts on a show that unbeknownst to the audience, will leave them witness to one of the last performances of her lifetime. One of the greatest jazz and blues singers of all-time shares her loves and losses through her poignant voice and moving songs, including: “Strange Fruit,” “God Bless the Child,” “When a Woman Loves a Man,” and “Ain’t Nobody’s Business if I Do.”

Join Wolfgang, the greatest actor in the world, as he prepares to take on the role of a lifetime telling the classic story of Little Red Riding Hood. However, in the middle of his performance, he is interrupted by a mysterious delivery person, who insists he tell the story the correct way. This delightful performance explores how we tell stories, the power of bravery, and encourages students to tell their own stories

In the midst of the Civil Rights Movement, young Annie Easley knows she can be something more. In this true story of dreams, hardships, and self-determination, Annie becomes one of the first African American human computers at NASA. Initially working on airplanes, she soon realizes her destiny is to be on the team of mathematicians that launch the Centaur Rocket into the Space Race. Commanding Space is an important story about a persistent and intelligent woman whose desire to succeed in science and technology proved stronger than the prejudice that would have denied her.

Specifically designed for the youngest audiences and their families, Push, Pull, Together, Apart is about connection. How many ways are we connected with each other and the world around us? In this participatory experience, young audience members will join in exploring the diverse ways in which brand new eyes find connection in the spontaneous. This 30-minute non-verbal performance will involve interactive sounds, props, and storytelling.
